Welcome to Keovmorkodh Chhuon Kucharski (“Kai”), a Cambodian-American speech pathologist who will volunteer with SSTC for the month of May. Kai is from Los Angeles and specializes in adult Dysphagia. Kai was born in a Thai refugee camp to a family who had escaped from the Khmer Rouge genocide and came to the US at age four.
Kai has dreamed for years of offering her skills in Cambodia ever since she was a graduate student in the Speech-Language Pathology program at Columbia University. Kai, we are so happy you found us!
