Our volunteer Stacey Arthur and our AVID colleague Gerri Harris have recently been to Vietnam to learn from the Trinh Foundation. In partnership with Vietnamese organisations, Trinh Foundation Australia (TFA) provides education, practical expertise and resources for the emerging Vietnamese speech therapy profession. In 2008 TFA began collaborating with the University of Medicine Pham Ngoc Thach to educate Vietnam’s first speech therapists. TFA continues to support graduates to develop their speech therapy practice, collectively working to establish sustainable services.
We look forward to more collaboration between our two organisations!
